Tegan Anthes, professional conservator Australia

I've always loved history and believe that objects hold our stories, our culture and provides connections. Being a conservator allows me to combine my passion for history, and the objects while connecting with the communities, the people and the stories to ultimately amplify the conservation of our cultural heritage.

My conservation career has included working across the full GLAM sector from large National institutions to small regional organisations. I am passionate about assisting organisations with all aspects of collection care and disaster planning, response and recovery.

I know budgets are small and expectations are high. I can offer solutions for every situation. I am innovative and creative and love the challenge of working within tight timeframes and limited finances.

“I love what I do, the people I meet, the stories I hear, the objects, and the places that this takes me.

I love knowing that preservation helps these objects, reveals the stories, and preserves our history. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you.”
